James Reinert
broker/owner
James is responsible for managing, growing and setting the strategic direction of Sequoia Development. This entrepreneurial structure allows James to actively manage all client assignments and investments. His specialties include:
• Brokerage / Consulting Services. James has performed every type of commercial real estate transaction including office and retail leasing, dispositions and acquisitions.
• Owner Representation. James has personally managed development projects from inception through design and construction management valued at over $1 billion from hi-rises to industrial expansions.
• Incentives. James has a comprehensive understanding of complex financing structures including TIF, tax credits and other governmental incentives and the ability to properly implement these programs for developers and tenants.
James’s client have found that his project management expertise provides a perspective that results in better transactions with well designed, more efficient space that meets their long term needs.
James lives in Jackson Hole with his wife, a son and two daughters. He is an avid cyclist, skier and hunter.
Melissa Reinert

Melissa has been involved with interior design, real estate and creating luxury vacations in Jackson hole for over 10 years. She graduated from the University of San Diego with a degree in Art and Business. Her career kicked off with San Diego Magazine scheduling photo shoots at luxury homes, designing page layouts and selling ad space. She used her sales experience to earn an institutional sales representative position with Pfizer for over 10 years. It was there she learned how to manage a sales team and clients and plan every last detail in launching and selling a billion dollar product.
Over the years Melissa has incorporated her sales experience with her business skills which gave her the ability to start her own company. Her natural intuition to understand people’s needs and their request for privacy launched her into caring for the retreats of second home owners. Break Away was then formed in 2010 taking Melissa’s vision of personalized service, luxury and customer privacy into a reality.
Adam Mccool
Owner- Jackson Hole Cycle
Adam was born and raised in Jackson Hole. Adam grew up racing motorcycles in the summer and skiing in the winter. He is intimate with all aspects of outdoor recreation in Jackson Hole.
A graduate of the University of Wyoming, he received a degree in Business Management. Growing up in Jackson Hole allowed Adam to become part of a group of elite, extreme athletes. He has been involved in record breaking downhill skiing and is a founding member of the Jackson Hole Air Force. Being part of the extreme sports world has allowed Adam to develop relationships with both up-and-coming and established athletes such as Travis Rice of Red Bull Sports.
These unique relationships with the community, local athletes and outdoor specialists gives Adam a singular insight into creating unmatched recreational experiences for our clients.
Mariah Underhill

After graduating from the University of Virginia in 2007, Mariah moved to Jackson to make her home “in the most beautiful place she’d ever been.” Mariah brings to Sequoia Homes a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a no-nonsense attitude to help you with your future real estate transaction. Recently married to a local carpenter, Mariah helps out on the job site, learning all steps of the construction process.
Jackson offers a wide range of living experiences. From in-town convenience to the quintessential Wyoming ranch and all that is in-between, Mariah’s intimate knowledge of area’s different amenities will help you find home in a location that is just right for you.
When not showing property or remodeling with her husband, Mariah can be found on the trails. She loves all that Jackson has to offer from mountain biking to kayaking to skiing. She looks forward to sharing with you her enthusiasm for this Valley and its community. Welcome Home!
Matt Hazard

Matt, a native Mississippian, moved to Jackson in 2010 to work as a Landscape Architect and Project Manager and to more fully enjoy the outdoor lifestyle. Matt’s appreciation for the outdoors began at an early age through his participation in Boy Scouts, hunting whitetail deer, working cattle, and family vacations to National Parks throughout the West.
In 2004, after receiving his degree in Landscape Architecture from Mississippi State University, Matt moved to Newport Beach, California, where he worked as a Project Landscape Architect/Owner’s Rep., providing design and planning services ranging from entitlements to construction documentation. While on the West Coast, Matt attended night classes at the University of California Irvine and in 2010 completed his Land Development Construction Management Degree.
During Matt’s time in Jackson Hole, his most notable achievement has been managing the design and construction of the $19.3M Jenny Lake Renewal Project in Grand Teton National Park. Having experience in construction and design complimented his dream of working in real estate.
Matt lives in Jackson with his wife and son. In his free time, he enjoys spending time on the river and preparing for the next hunting season to roll around.
Sam Lubing

Raised in Jackson, Sam has inherent and deep-rooted ties to the valley. With a background in hospitality & sales he has brought his enthusiasm into the Real Estate realm. Commitment and dedication to the client experience sets him apart from the many agents the valley has to offer. As a private chef to many of the affluent families of Jackson and visitors alike, he understands attention to detail and resourcefulness that allow him to doggedly pursue only the best outcome for his clients.
Sam spends his free time with his RN wife Stephanie and their two dogs, Veezy and Millie. He can be found skiing and backpacking in the mountains, rafting & fishing our local rivers and volunteering with organizations both local and international.
